Benefits of Service

The Importance of Regular Tree Care

Maintaining healthy trees and shrubs requires regular attention and care. By investing in qualified tree services, you can ensure that your landscape remains in top shape while reaping numerous benefits:

Protect Property Values:

Well-maintained trees and shrubs significantly enhance the aesthetic appeal of your property. They create a welcoming atmosphere and make a positive first impression on visitors, potential buyers, or clients. This enhanced curb appeal can ultimately lead to increased property values.

Preserve the Natural Beauty

Trees are not only valuable for their visual appeal but also for their contribution to the natural beauty of your surroundings. Proper tree care ensures that they remain healthy, vibrant, and continue to enhance the overall beauty of your landscape.

Ensure Tree Health

Professional tree services involve regular inspections, pruning, and disease prevention measures. These practices help maintain the health of your trees by identifying potential issues early on and providing appropriate treatments to prevent further damage.

Retain Growth and Vitality

Regular trimming and pruning promote healthy growth, allowing your trees to flourish and reach their full potential. By removing dead or damaged branches, you not only enhance their appearance but also encourage new growth and prevent potential hazards.

Ensure Safety

Overgrown or weak trees can pose a significant risk to your property, as well as the safety of your family, employees, or customers. Professional tree services help identify and address potential hazards, such as weak branches or trees that may be too close to power lines or structures.

Tree Care Services — Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about tree care services in Snohomish & King County. Click a question to expand the answer.

What’s included in ongoing tree care?
A full tree-care program includes annual or biennial inspection by a trained arborist, structural and clearance pruning, soil testing and fertilization where indicated, monitoring for common Pacific Northwest pests (bark beetles, aphids, winter moth) and diseases (root rot, anthracnose, fire blight), and storm-damage assessment. Most properties don’t need every service every year — we build a maintenance schedule based on your specific trees.
How often should mature trees be inspected?
Healthy mature trees on residential properties benefit from a professional inspection every 2–3 years, or annually if they’re located near structures, over walkways, or have shown signs of stress. Trees in rapid decline, recently damaged, or with visible cavities should be inspected promptly.
Can you save a sick or stressed tree?
Often, yes. Many tree problems we see — yellowing canopy, dieback, premature leaf drop — are caused by soil compaction, watering issues, root damage from construction, or treatable pest pressure. We do an on-site assessment, identify the cause, and recommend a treatment path. Some trees are too far gone for treatment; we’ll tell you honestly when removal is the right call.
Do you do soil aeration and root-zone work?
Yes. Air-spading for soil decompaction around root flares, vertical mulching, root-zone fertilization, and root-collar excavation for trees that have been buried by added soil are all part of what we do for stressed mature trees.
What pests and diseases are common on Snohomish County trees?
The most common issues we see locally are western tent caterpillars on alder and cherry, aphids on maple, bronze birch borer on white-bark birches, root rot (Armillaria and Phytophthora) in poorly drained soils, and apple scab on fruit trees. Most are manageable with timely intervention.
Do you offer tree care plans for HOAs and property managers?
Yes. We work with several Snohomish County HOAs, condo associations, and commercial property managers on annual tree-inspection-and-maintenance contracts. Email or call us for proposals.
